Phobia, a form of neurosis, fear is the main clinical symptom. People with phobia usually develop strong and unnecessary fear to some specific situations or objects, associated with avoidance behaviour. The specific situations or objects may be simplex or multiplex, like animal, square, closed room, climbing or social event and so on. Patient knows the reaction is unreasonable, but can not prevent the fear attack. Patient may try the best to avoid the object or situation he/ she fears, or tolerate the object or situation with fear.
